About

Suzanne Roberts
I’m an interactive therapist. I’ll give you feedback and challenge your thinking to increase self-acceptance & self-knowledge.
I have been a therapist for 24+ years.

Throughout that time, I’ve been treating numerous psychological issues and age groups. I have worked in various settings, including psychiatric hospitals and mental health centers. My clinical focus and expertise includes eating disorders, anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, relationship issues, severe trauma, and grief.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), my approach is to view the entire environment rather than only the problem. Numerous events and people impact our lives. It is important to look at how you respond to these and their influence on your personal struggle.

My job isn’t to fix but to assist you with learning positive and realistic coping skills. During our sessions, I’ll offer constructive feedback to reduce the interference your mental health struggles have with your daily life. Acceptance, validation, and empowerment are key factors throughout therapy with me. I challenge my clients and expect them to put in the work—changing thoughts and behaviors requires this! If you’re willing to put in the effort, I can help you take great strides forward.
